this feels like one of those deals that looks insane until you remember what generation it belongs to. AM4 is basically retired but $390 for a solid B550 board, a 5800XT and 32GB RAM is still wild
am4 being dead doesnt mean useless though half of steam is still running zen 3 chips just fine not everyone needs am5 headaches
exactly if you building a clean 1080p/1440p rig with a midrange gpu this is still more cpu than most people will ever saturate
i think the only real downside is no real upgrade path you basically buying the end of the line
honestly the 32GB Corsair LPX might be my favorite part 16GB feels like the bare minimum now especially if you multitask or mod games
facts people obsess over cpus and gpus then run Chrome + Discord + a game and wonder why things feel sluggish
LPX isnt flashy but its stable and compatible with everything no rgb tax, no drama
