even discounted $50+ feels kinda steep unless this is a big step up from the first game i liked the original but it wasnt exactly flawless
same here the first one had a great aesthetic and combat ideas but level design and enemy variety were hit or miss if they fix that id consider it
im expecting improvements more than a complete overhaul sequels like this usually refine systems rather than reinvent them
thats fine honestly, as long as the rough edges are smoothed out the foundation was solid it just needed more consistency
i dont care what anyone says the anime Souls vibe is still a big draw there’s just something about that mix that works for me
same its less oppressive than something like Dark Souls but still has that weighty combat feel plus the character designs are way more expressive
