i went into this expecting a hardcore soulslike and instead got hit with anime cutscenes dramatic monologues and a character creator that took me 40 minutes… not complaining, just wasn’t ready for that shift
thats literally the appeal tho its like someone took Dark Souls and said “what if everyone was stylish and emotionally unstable?” the tone is completely different but the mechanics still kinda scratch that same itch
