ive been wandering around in dark souls with no idea where im supposed to go is the game just like this?
yeah there’s basically no hand holding you expected to explore and figure things out on your own
i went down some random path and ended up in a place that felt way too hard for my level 😭
thats ctually normal the game doesnt always stop you from going somewhere you shouldnt be yet
if enemies are destroying you instantly thats usually the game’s way of saying maybe come back later
after playing newer titles coming back to dark souls… different not better or worse just unique in its vibe
its not just nostalgia either there’s something about the atmosphere that feels more lonely and quiet compared to newer entries
yeah it feels more isolated less flashy more eerie
i went in expecting crazy boss fights but honestly feels more about the journey than the bosses
thats a fair take the bosses are important but the real challenge is getting to them
