mechanical buttons tend to feel more clicky and responsive, kind of like arcade controls
exactly it can make fighting games or platformers feel way more precise
does it make the controller loud though? i play a lot of switch at night and the last thing i need is a controller sounding like a mechanical keyboard
usually they noticeable but not obnoxious more tactile than loud
