i played a ton of book of demons back in the day so im curious if this actually feels different or just like a spin-off with co-op slapped on top
it definitely feels like a spin off but not in a lazy way the biggest shift is how combat plays out you not just building your own deck you reacting to what your teammates are doing too
yeah the coop aspect changes the pacing a lot in solo you can plan everything calmly but with others it becomes more about adapting midturn and covering each other’s weaknesses
that actually sounds more interesting than i expected i was worried itd just be the same loop with multiplayer added as an afterthought
