bit of both. tight controls like Contra but goofy/fun like Metal Slug plus way more personality than I expected

nah it switches gangs, bosses, weapons plus every boss has their own theme + intro. feels fresh the whole way
i slept on this when it came out cuz the name sounded like a budget FPS, turns out it’s one of the best indie shooters out there
played this on Steam Deck and it’s perfect. controls tight, no stutter, finally a game that respects my need to dodge and shoot with style
art style is insane, like every frame could be a poster. also that announcer dude?? cracked me up every level

campaign’s like 5-6 hrs depending on skill, every stage has replay value tho and solo’s 🔥, but couch co-op is where the chaos really hits

nah you get a mix — guns, throwing knives, melee weapons, you can even smack dudes with briefcases, pure side-scroller chaos
