Is the MSI Codex R2 worth it for 1080p gaming? My laptop’s dying, and I need something compact for my small desk.
I’ve had it for a few months. Runs most games like Apex and Cyberpunk smoothly, but it gets pretty loud under load. Also, the 512GB SSD fills up fast.
Yeah, that SSD is tiny. I’d probably need an external drive for my games. How’s the RTX 4060? Good for high settings?
At 1080p, it’s great. Handles high settings easily, but don’t expect much from ray tracing without tweaking settings.
What about cooling? I’m worried about heat since it’s a compact case
humm, that’s where it struggles. You might want to look at the Dell G5 instead—better airflow, and still compact.
