is this good for both fps and casual gaming? wondering how smooth it actually is with the 165hz, specially on consoles
i’ve got this one and also an acer nitro xv272 the MSI is smoother on refresh but colors arent as punchy as the acer imo, if you’re playing on console tho, you’ll cap at 120hz most likely so it’s kinda overkill
same here, i use the MSI G32CQ4 and yeah colors are slightly better than this G32C4W, but they both got that same curve feel depends what you value more, i went with mine for the higher res
jumping in: i work IT and tested this for a client setup panel response is solid for the price, especially at 165hz, but dont expect amazing HDR or color accuracy its really built for speed not visuals
tbh if you’re on a budget and dont care much for perfect color, this beats most gigabyte or viewsonic options in the same price range curved panel adds a nice touch too if you sit close
this whole thread made me cancel my other cart with the samsung odyssey g3 lol sticking with this MSI one now, seems more balanced for what i need
i ended up picking the dell s2721dgf instead after reading all this lol, better panel for editing + games but for pure gaming, this msi looks like a steal
