hot take: arthur morgan is a way better protagonist than john marston ever was
i dont even think thats a hot take anymore arthur feels more layered like you constantly seeing different sides of him depending on your choices and interactions
i still think john has a stronger arc overall, especially when you consider the events of the first game arthur feels more human but john feels more defined if that makes sense
