i went into this thinking it was just another zombie game and ended up sitting in silence for like 10 minutes after finishing episode 5 that ending genuinely hit harder than most movies
same here its not even the zombies that get you its the relationships the game just slowly builds that bond with clementine until it wrecks you
what surprised me is how attached i got to characters i initially didnt even like the writing really evolves them over time
and the choices… man even when i replayed it i still struggled to pick different options because i knew how it would feel
