okay i might be tripping but $1,499 for a laptop with an RTX 5070 and a 240Hz screen actually seems kinda aggressive pricing for a gaming laptop
@NinjaDiscounts yeah that caught my eye too usually when you see that gpu tier in laptops its closer to the $1800–$2000 range depending on the brand
the predator line has always been acer’s “try to compete with the expensive ones but slightly cheaper” series not super flashy but usually decent value
what surprised me more is the 2560x1600 panel with 240Hz thats actually a really nice combo for gaming
yeah 1600p laptops are underrated slightly sharper than 1440p but still realistic for GPUs to drive
this is the kind of spec sheet that makes you scroll down looking for the hidden catch
anyone here actually own one of the newer Helios Neo models? im debating between this and a Legion
i tried the helios neo 16 at best buy a few months ago build quality was better than i expected honestly
@ExplorerLeo legions usually win in build quality though acer tends to win on price
@telis81371 im mostly curious about thermals gaming laptops with HX chips can get spicy
the demo unit i tried was warm but not crazy loud hard to judge in a store tho
