I’ve tried a bunch of wireless controllers over the years, but this one? Total winner. The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 somehow manages to feel premium and effortless at the same time — and the price is more than fair for what you’re getting.
Works great with Steam. To use motion controls, you have to use Bluetooth. The 2.4 dongle isn't compatible sadly. The fact that the dongle is stored, hidden & plugs into the dock, which in turn plugs into your PC is pretty cool.
I did a LOT of research on controllers and decided to spend a bit extra on this one. It works flawlessly with my computer and the docking station for my Steam Deck. Works for a variety of games with no delay or issues. I've tried other brands, including a PS4 controller and haven't had as good range, responsiveness, or battery life. Really like the docking station too
Best controller I've owned. I have some elite and pro versions of other controllers and this tops them. It connects effortlessly both bluetooth and the 2.4 dongle work very well.
