why would anyone buy this with a 9700X when the 9800X3D exists? feels like Dell leaving performance on the table
because Dell knows most buyers wont notice the difference outside benchmarks
yeah but if you already spending three grand another $150 for X3D feels obvious
until you realize most of these systems are used for gaming and work X3D isnt always the best all around chip
exactly. people forget X3D shines in games but can lag in productivity. Dell’s default is boring not dumb
@CompulsiveBuyer also thermals. alienware cases are better than they used to be, but they still tune for stability over edgecase performance
