ive owned two alienware desktops over the years (not this exact model but similar aurora ones) people love to dunk on them online but honestly mine were pretty reliable
i remember older alienware builds getting roasted for airflow
older ones definitely ran warm but the newer chassis are way better the 240mm liquid cooler helps a lot too
same experience here mine’s from like 2022 and temps have been fine the bigger complaint for me was upgrade space inside the case
that’s what i heard too powerful machine but not the easiest if you like tinkering with parts
yeah alienware prebuilts are kinda like macs for gamers great if you just want it to work less great if you constantly swapping components
if you had about $2k to spend, would you buy a prebuilt like this or build your own?
if you enjoy building pcs, build one if you just want to plug it in and play games tonight prebuilt makes sense
