Solid upgrade from my old 3700X, thx
How's the gaming? I heard the extra cache makes a big difference with that X3D stuff. Thinking of upgrading from a 5600X, but not sure if the jump is worth it.
The cache boost makes a noticeable difference, especially in cpu heavy games like strategy or open world. Frames are smooth, fewer stutters. If gaming is your main thing, it’s a solid upgrade. If you’re doing more workstation tasks, I’d consider something else.
