ok… 480Hz oled sounds insane on paper but $749 is still not pocket change. anyone here actually living with this thing yet?
been using it for about 3 weeks. its also kinda niche if you play CS2 daily its crack if you mostly do single player stuff its borderline overkill
thats exactly my dilemma i play valorant a lot but also spend half my time in bg3 and cyberpunk feels like buying a ferrari to sit in traffic
same boat. i justified it by saying future proof and then immediately spent 4 hours admiring how clean my desktop icons look on oled zero regrets, some shame
i upgraded from a 240Hz IPS and honestly didnt expect the jump to feel this noticeable but the motion clarity is stupidly good like… enemies feel glued in place instead of smearing across the screen
if you not consistently pushing 400+ fps you paying for bragging rights. my 3080 taps out way before this panel even stretches its legs
yeah but oled response time still helps even below max hz i cap around 300fps and it still feels smoother than my old panel ever did
anyone worried about burn in or are we just pretending its 2015 plasma tech all over again?
@LukeLuke i was paranoid at first but it has pixel shift, panel refresh, logo dimming… plus i dont leave cnn on for 12 hours. feels fine so far
yes it technically has speakers, no you should not use them unless you hate yourself
