i dont care what the spec sheet says every gaming laptop ive owned turns into a space heater after 40 minutes im tired
honestly thats kind of expected tho? its a 4050 running at up to 140W in a 15 inch chassis that heat has to go somewhere
140W is actually the part that surprised me most 4050 laptops cheap out and run lower wattage thats why half of them benchmark like a sad potato
yeah but wattage doesn’t magically fix thermals it just means it’ll perform better until it hits limits
unpopular opinion: ASUS hardware is usually fine but Armoury Crate makes me want to uninstall Windows
the real question is: how long does a 4050 stay relevant? be honest
@ClaireFisher For 1080p? a couple years easily if youokay with DLSS and not maxing ultra textures in every AAA release

most people play esports titles anyway this would crush Valorant, CS, Apex at 144Hz
