Thinking about getting this ASUS VivoBook 14" Touch with the Intel Core Ultra 7. I’ll mainly use it for work, some light photo editing, and streaming. Is the performance actually good, or is it more of a basic everyday laptop?
@dangerous I’ve been using this model for about 3 months now. Performance is solid for productivity tasks. The Intel Core Ultra 7 handles multitasking really well, and it feels snappy overall.

@dangerous The touchscreen is responsive and accurate. I don’t use it all the time, but it’s convenient for scrolling, quick edits, or presentations. It feels smooth, not laggy. Definitely a nice addition rather than a gimmick.
@PerryKaty And what about battery life? I need something that lasts most of the workday without constantly charging.
@dangerous For normal work use (Wi-Fi on, medium brightness), I get around 7–9 hours. If you’re just browsing or streaming, it can last even longer. It’s not a gaming laptop battery monster, but for productivity it easily covers a full day.
