every time this mic goes on sale i see people jump on it like its the default streaming starter pack is the blue yeti actually still good or is it just riding on old youtube hype?
honestly its still pretty solid for a USB mic not “studio gear” obviously but for discord, streaming or casual podcast stuff it punches above its price
the crazy thing is how long this mic has been around i swear people were recommending the yeti like 10 years ago and its still everywhere
yeah but that also says something about it if a piece of tech survives a decade without becoming a meme product it probably does something right
@JessePinkman true but audio nerds will immediately tell you there are better USB mics now
is this good for discord and gaming chats or is it overkill? my headset mic sounds like im speaking through a drive thru speaker
this would definitely be a big upgrade over a headset mic just keep it close to your mouth and lower the gain a bit
