anyone else getting noticeably worse performance in miles morales compared to spider-man remastered? i’m on a ryzen 5 3600 + RX 5700, and remastered hits 100–120 FPS at 1440p with optimized settings. Using those same settings in Miles, I’m only seeing 60–80 FPS, sometimes even dipping into the 40s during fights
Everyone online keeps saying miles runs the same or better… so now I’m wondering if something’s wrong with my setup....
@Solar runs smoother for me honestly, I get a small bump in FPS in Miles compared to Remastered
@Solar you’re not crazy, I’ve noticed the same thing, remastered feels lighter, and Miles seems to push the GPU harder. Pretty sure it’s because Miles has higher-quality effects overall....
@Solar miles morales includes extra ray-traced features (especially shadows), so it’s naturally more demanding
@Solar for me it only tanked when the snowstorms kicked in, lowering the weather/particle settings stopped the drops completely
@Solar Yeah, miles is definitely a heavier title, if you disable ray tracing, the FPS jumps significantly, usually 90–100+ FPS on mid-range cards, honestly the game still looks fantastic without RT
@Solar your experience is totally normal, miles just hits GPUs harder overall
