bought mine two weeks ago its ridiculous 120Hz screen, desktop level smoothness… and battery life that politely says you’ve got about one boss fight
@JaneDoe thats the trade off man you either game at 120fps or game for 120 minutes not both
@ProPlayer yeah but it feels so premium like this thing shouldnt even be able to run Baldur’s Gate 3 that clean on a flight
@JessePinkman flight? my guy it barely makes it through TSA before its at 40%.
i went with “good” condition for $919 had a tiny scuff on the back, works perfectly you wouldn’t know unless you stared at it under direct sunlight while questioning your financial decisions
@GeorgeW71 thats the Best Buy gamble sometimes you get a return that was opened once sometimes you get one that looks like it survived a rage quit
@iPeter mine came clean, sealed and factory reset honestly if it runs this well, ill take a scratch. adds character
@Void meanwhile i paid full price two months ago feeling like the real open box item here
got mine docked to my TV basically turned into a silent min pc my girlfriend thinks it’s “cute” until she realizes its running Starfield at 60fps
@CompulsiveBuyer the Ally X is perfect for couch gaming like 99% of us bought it thinking “travel machine,” but it never leaves the coffee table
