Odyssey is great, really worth it at that price. Never played pikmin, is it worth it? A little disappointing no more discounts announced considering Switch 2 is right around the corner.
Pikmin is such a fun game. My buddy and I played endless hours of 3 on the Wii U. 3 is short and sweet campaign wise but endless hours for multiplayer. 4's campaign at total completion is longggggg but really fun. Haven't gotten to play multiplayer on it. I'm looking to get the 1+2 when this goes live. The concept just looking at it seems weird and boring but I love it lol
Oh, Pikmin is a fantastic series, it's sort of a cross between action adventure, real time strategy, and puzzle solving. If you've never played it before, I'd recommend going straight to Pikmin 4, it's the newest one and has a ton of features and improvements that make it very welcoming to new players, especially compared to 1 and 2. 1 and 2 are great games as well, but they're 20 years old and you can tell, the UI can be clunky and the gameplay is unforgiving in a lot of ways. The Switch re-release didn't do much at all to modernize them, just a few little tweaks and bug fixes, along with upscaled graphics.
Leaked stuff from factories indicates the Switch 2 will have a slot that fits Switch 1 games so it is likely to be backwards compatible. Although it could be like 3DS where it's similar sized... Pikmin is GREAT btw. I would recommend the OLD ones 1st. the newer ones are improvements and will make the older games feel old; not like Mario where the classics do not have that feel going back to them.
