☑️ Why buy: After years of rumors, Ubisoft officially revealed Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced yesterday, April 23, 2026. This is a ground-up remake of the 2013 classic, rebuilt in the latest Anvil Engine (the same tech powering AC Shadows)

im kinda conflicted the og is already one of the few entries that aged well so i dont fully get why this one needed the remake treatment
cause aged well doesnt mean feels modern go back and play it movement, combat flow, even UI stuff feels dated compared to newer games
yeah but part of its charm is that slightly clunky feel. I don’t want them smoothing everything out to the point it loses identity
thats always the gamble with remakes you either preserve the quirks and people complain it’s outdated or you modernize and people say it lost its soul
honestly if they fix tailing missions and clean up stealth jank that alone justifies it for me
fair… i forgot how many missions were basically dont get detected while moving at snail speed” 💀
