$70 for a Huntsman V2 Analog seems insanely cheap. Isn’t that usually a pretty expensive keyboard?
@CuriousGeorge Yeah, normally it’s way more than that. It’s one of Razer’s higher-end keyboards with analog optical switches.
@jj7149 Analog switches on a keyboard still sound kind of weird to me. What’s the point of that?
@CuriousGeorge Basically the keys can detect how far you press them, almost like a controller trigger. That lets games use more precise movement instead of just on/off inputs.
@jj7149 Oh that’s actually pretty cool for racing or driving games then.
@CuriousGeorge Exactly. Plus you can adjust the actuation point of the keys so they trigger earlier or deeper depending on what you prefer.
