the tmr thumbsticks part might actually be the biggest selling point for me after dealing with stick drift on multiple controllers ive become weirdly obsessed with any technology that claims to prevent it
same here magnetic sensing sticks like hall effect and tmr designs are becoming more popular because they dont rely on physical contact that wears down over time
exactly traditional analog sticks eventually grind themselves down from friction
magnetic sensors remove that friction point which is why a lot of newer premium controllers are switching to them
honestly d rather pay more upfront than replace drifting controllers every year
thats exactly the logic companies are betting on with these premium model
the switchable trigger modes are actually a pretty clever design being able to switch between instant mouse click triggers and full analog triggers depending on the game is really useful
yeah shooters benefit from instant triggers because every millisecond counts
but racing games or driving sections feel way better with analog triggers
you need gradual pressure for acceleration and braking
so having both modes on one controller avoids the usual compromise
