the razer wolverine V3 pro is $169 on Amazon and my ranked brain is whispering “input lag bad, buy mouse click controller” anyone here actually using it on Xbox pc? worth it or nah?
got it on launch and yeah, it’s very much a “sweaty controller” back paddles feel like mouse clicks, triggers are stupid fast and the hall effect sticks are smooth as hell.
same if you play shooters a lot, those hypertriggers are disgusting (in a good way) you barely move your finger and the shot is out
its basically razer putting a gaming mouse in controller form and charging you rent for it
random but does it have a 3.5mm jack or am i forced to go wireless headset?
yeah its got a 3.5mm port on the controller. volume / mute controls only work for wired headsets though not wireless
using mine with a cheap wired headset and it’s perfect i hate dealing with Xbox audio menus so having volume on the pad is clutch
hows the wireless? i dont want random disconnects mid match
razer hyperSpeed wireless is actually solid. 2.4 GHz with the dongle feels basically like wired for me
if you go full tryhard on pc, plug it in and turn on tournament mode in the app it bumps polling to 1000Hz inputs feel super snappy but you tethered
i just leave it wireless on Xbox wired when im on pc no weird pairing issues once i updated the firmware
is it heavy? my hands die on some “pro” controllers
its a little heavier than stock but the rubberized grips help a lot doesnt feel cheap at all
honestly feels like a proper premium pad case is nice too holds the dongle, cable, extra thumb caps
this is definitely a “i care about my K/D ratio too much” controller not something you toss in a backpack with no case
