hey everyone, i’m debating whether to pick up Ready or Not for .... is it genuinely worth the money? I don’t want to buy something that ends up disappointing. would be grateful for some honest thoughts from people who’ve played it
@liam9876 hey yo, its hard to judge the console version until actually play it, but the game itself is absolutely worth the price. I’ve sunk close to 200 hours into it on PC, finished all the achievements, tried the DLC, messed around with mods, and I can say it delivered way more than what I expected. gunplay feels great, missions have really solid atmosphere, and most of the maps are fantastic. there are some rough edges like janky AI and animation bugs, but mods help a lot and I’m sure void will patch things over time.
it’s not flawless, but overall it’s a strong buy. if you're unsure, check out some long-form youtube reviews since the community has been a bit divided recently

@liam9876 Comes down to what you tolerate, if repetitive missions, unfulfilled promises, or lingering bugs annoy you, then you might get frustrated. some issues have been around since early access. but honestly, there’s nothing else in the tactical SWAT-style category right now that competes, unless you’re okay with military-focused shooters instead
