people need to reset expectations this thing is powerful for a handheld not a magic laptop replacement yes it runs AAA stuff well no you shouldnt expect max settings at 120fps without heat and fan noise physics still exists
@Spiffo thank you every negative review i see is someone mad it isnt silent while pushing cyberpunk at insane settings drop textures one notch cap the framerate and suddenly its cool and quiet this isnt a desktop tower
i actually like the fan noise its a reminder something serious is happening dead silent handhelds make me paranoid like is this thing even working?
@telis81371 thats unhinged but i respect it also the Z2 Extreme is way more efficient than people give it credit for compared to older handheld PCs this thing sips power when tuned right
battery life discourse is also annoying yes it drains fast when you f hammering it. thats true of literally every powerful portable device thats the reason why chargers exist and backpacks were invented
i bought this because im tired of being chained to my desk after work turns out i play more games now because i can lie on the couch like a slug and still run real pc titles that alone justified the price for me
same it replaced my gaming laptop i never open problem laptops feel portable until you actually have to use them on your lap this thing just works wherever
f you only play fornite and fifa this is probably overkill but if your library is all over the place indie, AAA, mods, emulation this is kind of perfect
