i need someone to explain to me how multi sensory crusher bass in an open-back gaming headset isnt just complete overkill like are we trying to hear footsteps or simulate an earthquake every time a grenade drops?
thats kind of Skullcandy’s whole identity though they dont do subtle crusher line is about feeling the bass not just hearing it
right but competitive gaming and vibrating skull bones dont exactly scream precision
open back design is interesting here most immersive gaming headsets go closed back for isolation and punch open back usually means wider soundstage but less isolation
which makes me nervous for competitive play if your environment is noisy, open back can be a liability
true but for people gaming in quiet rooms, open back gives more natural imaging that can help directional awareness
but then they add multi sensory bass drivers on top of that that combo feels contradictory
