just picked this up never played before any tips or am i going in blind?
take your time dont rush the main story explore do contracts and actually read the quest logs because the writing is half the experience
also dont ignore alchemy i did that my first run and got cooked constantly. potions + oils make fights way easier
appreciate it i usually skip crafting stuff in games but sounds like i shouldnt here
yeah this isnt one of those optional but useless systems oils literally change how fights play out especially against monsters
And PLEASE play the DLCs after the main story blood and Wine feels like a proper ending, not just extra content
I tried this before and dropped it because combat felt kinda clunky ngl
you not wrong its not the strongest part of the game but once you get used to signs + dodging it flows better
