Good price for amazon member only, like 6.60. Better than the Anker one by almost $4. I don't notice much difference between Anker and UGREEN products. Just keep in mind UGREEN has almost no support after you buy the product. If it dies, you're probably out of luck, unlike Anker who has some kind of warranty for most of the things I got from them. At least from my experience, they've replaced anything no questions asked.
Sorry for my ignorance, but how does this thing actually work?
haha, no worries, I had the same question! Well, basically, this switcher lets you connect two devices (like a laptop and a gaming console) to one HDMI port on your TV or monitor. You can then easily switch between them without unplugging anything. It’s super handy if you’re running out of HDMI ports or don’t want to keep swapping cables. And the 4K@60Hz means you get super smooth, high-quality visuals, so it’s perfect for gaming or watching 4K content.
Exactly! The "bi-directional" part is cool because it lets you control which device gets the display, either from the TV/monitor side or from the device side. So, if you want to switch between your PS5 and laptop, you just press a button (or use your TV remote, depending on the model). It makes life way easier! Really workssss
