i bought this thinking it was a cute little co-op puzzle game to play with my girlfriend what i got instead was a relationship stress test disguised as whimsy. there is a level where you absolutely have to trust the other person to not fumble something extremely basic… and lets just say i discovered new personality traits
oh this game is 100% a compatibility audit if your partner panics under mild platforming pressure you will know if they refuse to communicate, you will also know there’s nowhere to hide in it takes two
righttt you cant carry them either the game is built so you both HAVE to participate there’s no ill just solo this section real quick the design is basically forcing cooperation in a way that feels playful but slightly threatening
the best part is how the mechanics constantly change just when you think you’ve found your rhythm, suddenly one of you is controlling time and the other is upside down fighting a vacuum cleaner with emotional baggage
that vacuum boss is still one of the most absurdly intense domestic metaphors ive ever experienced in a video game
