is Visage really as scary as people say, or is it just another walking sim horror?
@livecev65 oh, its terrifying, not just jump scares, the psychological dread that creeps up on you slowly its insane
@livecev65 exactly! if you liked P.T., this is the closest thing we’ve ever gotten to a full version of it
@livecev65 i’ve played a ton of horror games, and Visage still got under my skin, the pacing is so deliberate that even picking up a lighter feels stressful
yeah, this isnt am usual indie horror, the tension builds until you actually dread opening doors
@StopBuying totally agree, it’s less “boo!” scary and more “i can’t breathe but i can’t stop playing.” the sound design alone makes it worse (in a good way)
how long does it take to finish the game?
@Macaw around 8–10 hours if you explore thoroughly, some puzzles can stretch that though
@Zimbra worth every minute, too. the atmosphere alone makes replaying certain sections creepy all over again
@Macaw i took me closer to 12 because i refused to google anything, the puzzles are clever but sometimes a little too vague
@GamerGamerGamer same here, but its worth taking your time, every room tells part of the story, if you rush, you miss half the creepy details
easily one of the best horror experiences i’ve ever had, realistic visuals, haunting story, and perfect pacing, pure dread from start to finish
