    If you live in a state like CA with high kilowatt hour rates, (say 45c/kWh), you might want to consider the newer models that use vacuum insulation to help maintain temperatures. Also running at 175F will help reduce cost if running 24/7. Otherwise, these water boilers from Zojirushi are fantastic.
